How we protect your designs, files and plans in practice, from the first email to the last shipment. This page explains our confidentiality practice; the NDA itself is a separate agreement signed before you share files.

Your product stays yours.
Protecting a brand’s designs is part of how we manage development and production, not an afterthought. These six rules apply to every program.
Before you share anything
A mutual NDA, governed by the laws of Hong Kong, is available before you send any designs or files. Mutual means both sides are bound.
What it covers
Designs and sketches, Tech Packs, patterns and grading, fabric and trim specifications, costings and pricing, launch dates and brand plans.
Who owns what
Clients retain ownership of their product concepts and approved technical documents. Dragon Maiden provides the expertise and manufacturing execution to bring those concepts into production.
Need-to-know access
Inside Dragon Maiden, your files are available only to the people working on your program.
Partner facilities
Each partner facility, mill or service provider receives only what its step requires, under confidentiality obligations. A fabric mill, for example, sees fabric specifications, not your collection plan.
Our own label
Dragon Maiden also runs its own label, which serves as our R&D lab. It never uses client designs, files or development work.
At the end of a program
Files returned or deleted on request.
When a program ends, tell us whether you want your files returned or deleted, and we will confirm once it is done.
How to request an NDA
Email info@thedragonmaiden.com with your company name and the name and title of the person who will sign. We will send our mutual NDA for your review. You can also mention it in the enquiry form on our contact page.
