Private Label Activewear Manufacturer for Premium Brands

Dragon Maiden Technology Limited is a Hong Kong-based activewear development and supply-chain company serving activewear brands, Pilates studios and premium wellness businesses. We coordinate private label apparel production through selected manufacturing partners in China, connecting performance fabric sourcing with pattern development, sampling, fit review and quality control. Your project can begin with a tech pack, a reference garment or a product brief. We help define the product, materials, branding and production requirements before a manufacturing commitment. Dragon Maiden manages communication and production coordination from the initial brief through approved samples, bulk checks and shipment arrangements.

What We Develop

Leggings & sports bras

Studio and training styles developed around coverage, stretch recovery, waistband stability and the intended level of support. Seam placement, gussets, straps and lining are reviewed during sampling.

Tops, shorts & layers

Training tops, fitted tees, tanks, shorts, studio layers and recovery pieces. Product specifications define the silhouette, movement needs, branding placement and finish.

A focused first range makes it easier to align fit and materials across the collection. Explore yoga apparel or Pilates and barre apparel for category considerations.

Materials for Your Private Label Range

Fabric selection starts with how the garment will be used. Nylon-spandex and polyester-spandex constructions can be assessed for stretch, recovery, opacity, weight and moisture management. Softer Modal or lyocell blends may suit studio and recovery layers; they are not interchangeable with high-support training fabrics.

Recycled content and branded TENCEL™ fibre options can be discussed during sourcing. Where GRS or OEKO-TEX® documentation is required, the relevant supplier, material, certificate scope and validity must be checked before any claim is agreed. Dragon Maiden does not present these as company-held certifications. Availability and supporting documents are confirmed for each project.

Development Before Production

  1. Brief review: define the customer, product range, intended use, quantities and launch target.
  2. Fabric and trims: review material options, colours, labels and construction requirements.
  3. Pattern and sample: translate the brief into a physical garment with measurable specifications.
  4. Fit and revision: record feedback on fit, movement, coverage and workmanship.
  5. Pre-production approval: agree the reference sample, measurements, materials and branding details.
  6. Production: coordinate the agreed program against the approved reference.

Sampling rounds and timing depend on the complexity of the garment and the readiness of the brief. Read the development and approval process.

Manufacturing Through Selected Partners

Dragon Maiden operates as a development and supply-chain company, rather than claiming ownership of a single factory. Production is coordinated through selected manufacturing partners in China. The route is chosen around the garment construction, fabric availability, quantity and finish.

Custom dyeing, labels, trims and packaging each have their own lead times and minimums. These requirements are reviewed together before bulk approval. Changes after approval need a fresh review of cost, timing and sample requirements.

Who We Work With

Activewear & lifestyle brands

New collections, seasonal drops, repeat production and supplier transitions where product consistency matters.

Studios & wellness businesses

Pilates studios, wellness businesses and private clubs developing member retail, team apparel or limited capsules with their own identity.

MOQ & Commercial Starting Points

  • Development: from US$500 per style.
  • Selected small runs: approximately 100 pieces per style using suitable in-stock fabrics.
  • Fully custom production: quantities depend on fabric, dyeing and construction requirements.
  • Production programs: typically from US$6,000 per project.

These are planning starting points, not a fixed quotation. Final scope, quantities, material minimums, sample rounds and delivery dates are agreed after reviewing the project.

Quality Control: From Approved Sample to Bulk

The approved pre-production sample and specification form the reference for bulk checks. Review points include measurements and tolerances, fabric and colour matching, seam quality, label placement and packing details. In-line checks identify issues during production; final inspection reviews the finished order before shipment approval.

Checks and any required testing are scoped to the product. A sample approval is not a blanket guarantee for every performance claim. Reorders should reference the agreed measurements, material details and recorded changes so substitutions can be reviewed.

Private Label Activewear FAQ

What does private label activewear manufacturing include?

It means producing apparel for sale under your brand. A Dragon Maiden project can include fabric sourcing, pattern development, sampling, labels, production coordination and QC. The exact scope is agreed in the quotation.

Does Dragon Maiden own a factory?

No. Dragon Maiden Technology Limited is a Hong Kong-based product development and supply-chain company that coordinates selected manufacturing and material partners in China.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Selected small-run programs can begin at approximately 100 pieces per style using suitable in-stock fabrics. Fully custom production may require higher quantities. Material, dyeing and construction minimums are confirmed for each project.

Can I start without a complete tech pack?

Yes. A reference garment, sketches or a clear product brief can start the review. Any missing pattern, measurement or construction work is scoped as development before production.

Can you add our labels, colours and packaging?

These can be included in the project review. Custom colours, labels, trims and packaging have separate minimums and lead times that must be confirmed before approval.

Can I request certified or recycled fabrics?

Yes. Tell us the material requirement and destination market. Supplier documentation and certificate scope need to be checked against the selected material before a certification or recycled-content claim is used.

How long will development and production take?

There is no single lead time for every project. Fabric availability, sample revisions, approval speed and production capacity determine the schedule. Share your target launch date so feasibility can be reviewed before commitment.

How are confidential designs handled?

A mutual NDA is available before confidential files are shared. Ownership, permitted use and production responsibilities should be agreed in the project terms.
